Meet the Physicians of Northwest ENT and Allergy Center

Our physicians specialize in otolaryngology. We provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art care in the metro Atlanta area with five locations including: Buckhead, Canton, Cartersville, Marietta and Woodstock. We routinely evaluate and treat patients of all ages for a wide range of conditions involving the ear, nose, throat, head and neck.

All physicians are board certified / eligible by the American Board of Otolaryngology.


Drew M. Locandro, M.D., Video Bio

Dr Locandro PhotoOriginally from New Jersey, Dr. Drew M. Locandro received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University. He attended Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey, where he specialized in otolaryngology and completed his residency at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York.

Dr. Locandro has extensive experience with common ENT procedures and special expertise with nasal/sinus surgery, cosmetic nasal surgery, and advanced ear surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.


Shatul L. Parikh, M.D., Video Bio

Dr Parikh PhotoDr. Shatul Parikh, a native Atlantan, received his undergraduate degree from Emory University, and completed his medical studies at Georgia Regents University in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Parikh returned to Emory University to complete his residency in Otolaryngology.

Dr. Parikh is a nationally recognized expert in minimally invasive thyroid/parathyroid surgery. Currently an instructor for the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Parikh teaches other surgeons advanced techniques in thyroid/parathyroid surgery. He is also experienced in all routine ENT procedures.

Dr. Parikh is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is also the medical director of Northwest ENT Surgery Center.


Ryan M. Kauffman, M.D., Video Bio

Dr. Kauffman specializes in allergy, nasal surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, chronic ear surgery, and pediatric otolaryngology.

He was born and raised in Carrollton, Georgia, received his undergraduate degree from the University of West Georgia, attended medical school at Vanderbilt University, and completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

 

 


Avani P. Ingley, M.D., Video Bio

Dr Ingley PhotoDr. Avani Ingley grew up in Vidalia, Georgia, and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. She completed her medical studies and residency in Otolaryngology at Emory University in Atlanta. Additionally, she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, one of the nation’s most prestigious medical honor societies.

Dr. Ingley has experience in all routine ENT procedures with special interest in pediatric otolaryngology and nasal/sinus surgery. She is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.


Bryan J. Stringham, D.O., F.A.O.C.O-H.N.S.

Dr. Bryan Stringham

Dr. Bryan Stringham sees patients of all ages and is experienced with all general otolaryngology procedures. He is also trained in cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery.Dr. Stringham grew up in Boise, Idaho and completed his undergraduate studies at Boise State University and Idaho State University. He graduated from the founding osteopathic medical school, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Stringham completed his residency in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastics at Northeast Regional Medical Center.Dr. Stringham is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.


Khaled Kashlan, M.D.

Dr. Khaled Kashlan

Dr. Kashlan joined Northwest ENT Surgery Center in 2021 and provides expertise in managing sinus and nasal diseases and voice disorders.

Dr. Kashlan attended the Georgia Institute of Technology to study Biomedical Engineering. He subsequently obtained his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Georgia and completed his residency training in otolaryngology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

In his spare time, Dr. Kashlan enjoys traveling, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
